One reason this Napa Valley blend is so delectable is because it's just one percentage point short of being labelled Cabernet Sauvignon. It's 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petite Syrah and 4% Petite Verdot. The Cab Sauv aged separately for 12 in oak barrels while the other grapes aged in all new oak for just four months. The Cab character really shines here.

Advanced Sommelier Martin Sheehan-Stross liked this wine a lot and said "A rich, smooth blend that would be just as easy to enjoy with great company by the fire as at the table with a ribeye steak. The nose shows plenty of ripe blackberry and blackcurrant aromas while the palate is dense and chocolatey. A wine that is very bold while also very easy to drink."
