In this exceptional setting, where the foothills rise up from the valley floor the vineyards contain ancient, complex soils.

Something Cambria specializes in is the production of stylistically distinct bottlings of small-lots like this Clone 4 Pinot Noir. 100% estate grown, the Clone 4 grapes were sourced from Julia’s Vineyard, where the vines were planted using grafting material from the original Clone 4 established on their property in 1970. The vines are well-established and consistently produce classic Pommard style wines with a distinctive expression unique to the Santa Maria Valley. It highlights the special quality and distinct character that's possible for Pinot Noir in this region.

This wine aged for 8 months in 28% new French oak, shows ripe cherry, strawberry, and cranberry with exotic spice aromas and flavors. An underlying essence of earthiness and a hint of dried orange peel are displayed in the mid-palate. The texture is silky and carries through the long finish. On Sale!!
