Covering a total area of 30 hectares, Château Domi-Cours is situated in the heart of a privileged natural setting in the southern part of the Gironde department, in the commune of Cours-Les-Bains. A property nestled in a green oasis, amidst an inspiring natural environment. The Bellanger family has been committed for around forty years to enhancing the great terroirs of Entre-Deux-Mers. Inspired by the beauty of the surroundings, owners Anne & Frédéric Bellanger aim to protect and pay tribute to the nature that surrounds them.
The Château Domi-Cours project is driven by strong entrepreneurial and human values, upheld by the owners and embodied daily by the team, focusing on two specific aspects. The first being environmental values. The chateau has a HVE level 3 certification and has been practicing sustainable agriculture in the vineyards for over twenty years. The second being societal values - the chateau is a supporter of the Anima Fund, which finances various projects in health, education, and social inclusion.
In 2019, Frédéric and Anne wanted to revitalize the activity of the Château by redesigning the range. They wanted to revisit traditional Bordeaux codes and the range was structured around four levels of quality: Quercus, the Château's Grand Cuvée, the Classic range offering a selection of Bordeaux appellations, Vitae, conceived as a collection of grape varieties, and Les Hauts du Château Domi-Cours, the discovery range.
Winemaker's Notes
The blend of this 2021 is 100% Sauvignon Blanc with the average age of the vines being 30 years old. It has an intense, aromatic nose with fresh notes of white flowers. The mouth is quite supple, with exotic notes. The finish is refreshing.
