Winemaker Georgetta Dane earned
her master's degree in Romaniaand then
worked for Kendall Jackson, where she Honed her enological skills. Today, she
is the winemaker for the Chloe Wine Collection, where she marries her old world
European roots with contemporary American winemaking which she shows off with
great success with this Monterey County Pinot Noir which shows complex layers
of flavor in a restrained and elegant style. This 2016 rated a “Strong
Recommendation”“Very Good” in the
Ultimate Wine Challenge. They said “Ethereal fragrances of strawberries,
raspberries and pomegranate are coated in forest floor earthiness. The palate
is elegant but expressive, showing more savory dried red berries flavors.
