Director's Cut 2017 Cinema Red Blend, Sonoma, Francis Ford Coppola

Cinema is a limited-production proprietary blend from Coppola. It's comprised of fruit from select sub-appellations of Sonoma including Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley and<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>Knights Valley. The outstanding 2017 vintage offered ample high quality fruit. The blend is 51% Zinfandel, 46% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petite Sirah. The wine aged 12 months in French oak, 20% new. It's a spicy, full-bodied red, layered with dark berry fruit components and an edge of earthiness.

It scored 92 points, Gold Medal in the 2019 Orange County Wine Society Wine Competition, 90 points, Gold Medal in the 2019 Critics Challenge Wine Competition and a Gold Medal in the 2019 Los Angeles International Wine Competition.
