In 1993, Pascal and his wife, Marie-Pierre, bought this family domaine. They now work the stone ridden, clay-limestone soils of the plain to create wonderful vigorous wines in a traditional style from 35 year old vines. Full of garrigue notes with sweet black fruit and nuances of spice, these wines are some the best hand crafted offerings in the Southern Rhône.
A blend of 50% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 20% Carignan, and 5% Cinsault this wine aged 12 months in stainless steel tanks (85%) and French oak barrels (15%). This wine displays knockout aromas of black cherry and cassis alongside dark spices and black olive. It is an intense and compelling mix of fruit and savory, with a long, mouthwatering finish.
