About Domaine Girault 2021 Sancerre, Les Beaux Regards
The Girault winery covers 40 acres and is located in the Loire at Bué, south-east of the town of Sancerre. Michel Girault founded the winery in 1970. Today it is the second generation in the form of sons Anthony and Olivier Girault who own and operate the winery. They grow Sauvignon Blanc, which develops perfectly in the rich soil, which is full of clay, lime and flint. This special terroir makes it possible to produce the world-famous Sancerre wines.
Sancerre, Michel Girault, Les Beaux Regards Blanc is composed of Sauvignon Blanc grapes from the areas: Silex, Caillottes and Terre Blanche in Sancerre. The color is light yellow with golden reflections. Citrus fruits and elderflower are noticeable in the scent. The taste is fresh, clean and inviting with a long and soft finish. It's an excellent value!
