The Pelissa vineyard is located on Oakville Crossroads directly behind their winery, making Ghost Block one of the only true Estate grown and produced Zinfandels from the Oakville AVA. And we need to point out, that here you are in the heart of Napa Cab country with the To-Kalon vineyard down the road and the Opus One vineyards right across the road if Zin is being grown here it must about the best Zin you're going find anywhere and since the Ghost Block makers, the Pelissa family own the vineyard they must know. Also, the vineyard's been certified by the California Certified Organic Farmers since 1991.

Carefully hand-harvested and fermented, this 100% Zinfandel was aged 12 months in 50% new American oak barrels. With Napa Valley elegance, this single vineyard Zinfandel offers layers of complex flavors. Bursting with aromas of dense, deep dark fruits like blackberry with dusty undertones.
