About Luigi Bosca 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon, Mendoza

From an historic winery, founded in 1901 this Luigi Bosca Cab is produced with grapes grown in their estate vineyards. The vineyards are located in Luján de Cuyo and Maipú with an average vine age of 45 years and at altitudes of 2500 to 3200 feet. The grapes are hand picked and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine aged 14 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels.

Tim Atkin MW scored this 94 points and said "If this is a sign of things to come at Luigi Bosca under Pablo Cuneo then it's very exciting indeed. Floral, intense and beautifully judged, with classic Altamira structure and polish, subtle oaking and fine layered tannins."
