McManis Family 2016 Zinfandel, Lodi

McManis Family Vineyards started in 1990 growing premium wine grapes mainly in the Lodi region of California. Seven years later they started to produce and bottle wine from their estate grapes and the rest is history. Their quality for the price is one of the best and this Lodi Zin is always one their best wines. Sourced from the family's 2700 acres of premium, sustainably farmed vineyards all around the Lodi AVA. A blend of 80% Zinfandel, 11% Petite Sirah and 9% Tannat, aged 4-6 months in a combination of new and used, French and American Oak. Once again a Wine Enthusiast Magazine "Best Buy", they said "This is a well-made, value-priced wine with plenty of juicy berry flavors, accented by caramel and vanilla. It is mouthfilling, not-quite sweet and very easy to sip, with a smooth texture."
