Our Value Cali Blend Wine of the Year!
This wine blends 65% Cabernet Sauvignon with 18% Merlot, 10% Petit Sirah and 7% Teroldego. The wine received some judicious oak aging and the combination of flavors explodes on the palate.
Advanced Sommelier Martin Sheehan-Stross scored this 94 points saying "Driven by notes of crushed red berries and currant, this wine shows the classic brambly character of Lodi while still maintaining plenty of freshness. The fruit is accented by mocha tones and a dusty minerality. The tannins are firm, but ripe."
