Grapes for this Classic Cabernet Sauvignon are sourced from the high altitude vineyards in the Lujan de Cuyo in Mendoza. It's 100% Cabernet and the grapes are carefully destemmed and undergo a four day cold maceration. The must is fermented at low temperatures in order to maintain aromatic delicacy. The fermentation is carried out with gentle pumpovers to also allow good extraction from the fruit. The wine is then aged for a short 3 months in French oak barrels.
This bold Cab shows great aromatic expression with notes of cassis, plums and black cherry. On the palate supple tannins give it a rich mouthfeel and pleasant medium body. The fruit flavors pervade through the finish. Great Value!
