About Rutherford Hill 2016 Chardonnay, Napa Valley
Rutherford Hill Chardonnay is crafted from grapes grown in the cooler climate of southern Napa Valley that create a wine with striking balance and structure. The 100% Chardonnay fruit is carefully hand-picked into half-ton bins and whole cluster pressed to provide the highest quality wine possible. The wine was barrel fermented and aged on the lies for 8 months in 25% new French oak.
It shows bright aromas of pear, stone fruits, and honeysuckle with hints of meyer lemon. It's full-bodied and layered with crisp apple, vanilla and hints of butterscotch. This Chardonnay has a great balance and structure with a lingering finish of brioche and toasted almonds. On Sale!!
