About Saladini Pilastri 2019 Consenso Rose, Marche IGT
Saladini Pilastri was the first winery in the Piceno area to achieve the prestigious Tre Bicchieri award from Italy's wine bible, the Gambero Rosso. All the winemaking is overseen by famous enologist Alberto Antonini. All of the farming is done without the use of chemical fertilizers and the winery is recognized by the EU as organic.
Robert Parker said about this winery "Saladini Pilastri is an excellent source for tasty, value-priced wines. The Marche remains one of Italy’s least-known regions, and that means readers can essentially drink everything up to this producer’s top wines without spending princely sums."
This rose is 100% Sangiovese from organically grown 20 year old vines. It shows a vibrant Salmon-Pink Color.
