Siduri is a unique producer. Started as the shared dream of two Texas wine geeks who wanted nothing more than to move to California and make killer Pinot Noir from the best vineyards, they grew to become the hottest cult winemakers around. Siduri has been working with fruit from the Hirsch Vineyard, located in the newly designated Fort Ross-Seaview AVA since 1995. This 2013 is outstanding. Vinous scored it 93 points saying "Brilliant ruby. A heady, exotically perfumed bouquet of candied raspberry, cherry-cola, anise and woodsmoke. Sappy, penetrating and alluringly sweet, offering palate-staining red and dark berry flavors and a hint of mocha. Smoky minerals add lift and cut to the strikingly long, incisive finish framed by silky tannins."
