The latest release of The Prisoner! Ever since Dave Phinney's first release of The Prisoner, it has been a cult classic, snapped up every vintage by hordes of admirers. Winemaker Chrissy Wittmann and her team continue the success of Prisoner by following the same formulas that Phinney perfected; working with a family of growers to source a diverse variety of grapes from premier vineyards throughout California. Originally inspired by the “mixed blacks” first made by the Italian immigrants who settled in Napa Valley. This release of Prisoner is sourced from beyond Napa Valley to bring a diverse and interesting blend by incorporating Zinfandel with the unlikely mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Charbono.
