This is the true story of the Three Thieves: the Master (Joel Gott), the Hustler (Charles Bieler), and the Dreamer (Roger Scommegna) - three rogue wine lovers whose 20-year kinship was sparked by a shared desire to make uncommon wine to be shared by all.
The Thieves California Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic. This Cab is made in an approachable style with balanced, juicy fruit flavors supported by smooth, supple tannins, sourced 66% from Lodi and 34% from coastal vineyards. To further enhance the blend, the wine is infused with French and American oak, which beautifully complements the dark berry, black currant and cherry flavors, lending hints of warm spice and vanilla.
Wine Enthusiast Magazine gave this a 91 point score saying "This exuberant wine is packed with expressive fruit aromas and irresistible flavors that range from cherry to black plum and blackberry. No noticeable oak gets in the way of the wine's fruit flavors. Medium body, good balance and gentle tannins make it easy to sip."
