Half Bottle 375ml
Individual barrels are carefully selected to go into this Fino en Rama. The wine is bottled without the usual filtration, leaving behind the traces of the yeasty flor. Complex and expressive, this is Fino Sherry taken to another level
James Suckling scored this 92 points saying “Complex aromas of custard, mustard leaf, tar and spice. Full-to medium-bodied and very dry. Dried apples and pears. Fresh finish. Always excellent.”
The Wine Advocate scored this 91 points saying “The 2019 release of the NV Tío Pepe Fino en Rama averages four years under flor, and for a young Fino, it's quite impressive. It has a cloudy color, really 'en rama' this time, with a clean and expressive nose, very much like the wine from the bota—young and tender but with the spicy, yeasty and saline character that makes it long and expressive. This release has a cream and golden colored label and was bottled in April 2019.”
Wine Enthusiast Magazine scored this 90 points saying “Pine resin, apple and sea brine aromas set up a plump palate with a slick mouthfeel. Dry slightly bitter melon and salty flavors finish long and briny, which is standard for a well-made fino like this.”
