Two Dot is a small family winery in Sonoma County, run by Chris and Emily Gaut. Their focus is about finding high quality grapes to make small batches of fine wine. Chris found that his study of science and his love of agriculture and farming were a natural bridge to the world of wine-making. Emily loved the creativity and community in the Sonoma winemaking world.
Â
In the beginning, they made wine wherever they could. To gain experience, they hand picked, hand sorted, foot stomped, crushed and vinified grapes all over Sonoma County. Their practices have not always been practical, but year after year they found a way to join harvest and to make wine they wanted to drink. Present day they want to share the bounty of these experiences from Sonoma County to Willamette Valley, Oregon. Â

Winemaker's Notes
Â
2016 was an epic year (97 Point Vintage) for the Willamette Valley, with an early start and plenty of heat, tempered by pockets of cool weather as the season progressed. This Holmes Hill vineyard designate wine is classic Oregon Pinot - light, fruity, and easy to drink, with subtle complexity and plenty of acid to enhance any meal. Ready to drink or will cellar for at least 5-10 years.
