Jean-Claude Pichot's family is one of the oldest in Vouvray, with origins as viticulturists and restaurateurs dating back to 1739. Their estate vineyards, the Domaine le Peu de la Moriette has expanded over the years from thirty to just over fifty acres of hillside vineyards. The Wine Spectator scored this 2016 90 points saying "Juicy and friendly in feel, with forward lime, meringue, quince and pear flavors laced by a light ginger hint. Slightly rounded edges show on the finish, but with enough buried acidity to stay lively. Drink now through 2022."
