About Willm 2019 Gewurztraminer Reserve, Alsace
A unique grape variety that reaches it's full potential in Alsace. It's often described as having a nose like rose petals and lychee, and this lush selection from Willm matches that description with a spicy note that's extremely refreshing.
This classic Gewurztraminer is 100% Hand harvested and softy pressed. It then spends 4-6 weeks in controlled fermentation in stainless steel. The final wine is then matured on the fine lees for another 2 to 3 months prior to bottling.
Wine Enthusiast Magazine said "Gentle notes of peach on the nose of this wine are edged with slight honeysuckle aromas. The palate adds more juiciness to the proceedings to give an off-dry, rounded and generous wine full of ease."
