About Koehler 2017 Estate Syrah, Santa Ynez Valley
For over 26 years, the Koehler family has dedicated its collective heart and soul to Koehler Winery. Farming of the 40-acre property is actively managed by the Koehlers, and their eco-friendly approach and sustainable vineyard and winemaking practices aim to elevate the quality of the winery’s hand-crafted, small batch wines.
The micro-climatic diversity on the 40-acre estate results in a superb range and quality of fruit. The 49-year-old vines are recognized as an asset in the Santa Ynez Valley and surrounding area.
Winmaker Notes:
Light ruby red in color, with aromas of cherry, raspberry, and forest floor. Firm but smooth tannins combined with a medium acidity lead way to fresh, red fruit flavors and hints of black licorice. Sourced from our Casa Blanca Vineyard.
