About Acrobat 2021 Pinot Noir, Oregon
Acrobat wines are sourced from a spectrum of Oregon vineyards, spanning the three classic Western AVA’s – Willamette Valley, Umpqua Valley and Rogue Valley. Grower relationships are what make Acrobat wines so deliciously consistent each vintage. We are honored to work with such marquee vineyard sites. Each vineyard and AVA have distinct characteristics and provide their own flavor. This diverse geographical selection was done by design, giving Acrobat wines a balanced flavor profile of the state of Oregon.
For this 2021, grapes were destemmed, cold-soaked and fermented in stainless steel tanks using gentle cap management. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation in the stainless steel tanks before being aged for 9 months in 20% new French oak.
The 2021 Acrobat Pinot Noir possesses flavor notes of raspberry, red currant, black cherry, and baking spice. Bright acidity and elegant, refined tannins are integrated on the palate delivering a lovely medium-bodied Pinot Noir.
