About Arzuaga 2016 Ribera Del Deuro Gran Reserva
Presenting a ruby red color, this wine has a wide range of aroma of ripe fruit compote, toast, and leather. Fine, complex, and attractive with a great balance. Silky and pleasant in the mouth with a bit of spice detected in the finish.
Serve with red meats, roasts, or game dishes. Its flavor is enhanced with cured or fatty cheeses.
Blend: 95% Tempranillo, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot
Wine Enthusiast scored this 96 Points saying "Inky ruby in color, this wine proffers a bouquet of black currant, almond blossom and dark chocolate. It is bright at first sip, opening with cherry and pomegranate flavors that are rapidly joined by durable tannins and additional notes of cocoa powder, freshly ground espresso, lavender and a touch of orange zest. The wine winds down to a surprisingly bright finish."
