In 1935, Antonio Capdevila Pujol and his wife Teresa Blancher Solanes, acquired Can Canjon, a farmhouse in Teià, a small town nestled in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean, just north of Barcelona. Antonio and Teresa hoped to make one of their life's dreams come true: to produce their own wines and cavas. With an underground wine cellar built in 1848 and located in the Maresme region, an area already known for producing quality white wines (and now part of the Alella and Cava D.O.s), Antonio and Teresa knew Can Canjon was an ideal location to fulfill their dream.
This cava was released in 1960 with the name of Extra Seco, it was the ideal complement the Extra Semi and designed for people who used to drink cava at anytime. In 2012 they presented this cava with the name of RESERVA NATURE, renewed and adapted to current tastes. This winery is one of the only 15 families in Cava region to have a distinguished "Integral" certification.
Fermented in stainless steel and then in contact with their fine lees. Aged in the bottle for 25 months on the property. Clarified by hand on the riddling rack. This cava is made for those looking for a fresh feel on the palate. It is the embodiment of simplification and elegance.
Pale yellow color with golden reflections. Fine bubbles with a good crown formation. The nose is enveloped with aromas reminiscent of white fruits, notes of raw almonds and a background of pastry. Fresh and long on the palate. Ideal for snacks and grilled fish or in sauces.
