About Bodegas Sel D'Aiz 2022 Albariño-Godello 'Yenda'
The blend of 75% Albariño, 25% Godello is located in the IGP Wine of the Land Coast of Cantabriain the El Habrés (Castillo Pedroso) vineyards. Manual selection of the grape bunches in the vineyard were transferred to the winery where they underwent a cold pre-maceration and pressing of the destemmed mass in pneumatic press at low pressure. Aging on its lees with battonage occurred and there was no tartaric stabilization, no clarification with only light filtration. Bottled in June 2022 with only 750 cases produced.
Winemaker Notes
Straw yellow with greenish iridescence in appearance. Clean and intense, with fruity aromas of very good intensity. Very fine notes of fruit (citrus, apple, pineapple, pear), and aniseed memories on a floral background. Fresh and balanced, with a dry finish. Best paired with fish and seafood, rice, desserts and cheeses.
