Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo was the first European to explore present-day California, navigating along the coast of California in the 1500's. The name adorns many parks, schools, streets and buildings in California and still evokes the excitement of discovery.

And excitement is exactly what you should feel about this namesake Napa Cab. Another outstanding wine from our friend Trevor Sheehan at Precision Wine Company. The grapes are sourced from a vineyard in the warm Pope Valley region of Napa Valley and the cool Oak Knoll sub-AVA of Napa Valley. Bringing together grapes from these growing regions with contrasting microclimates creates a wine with exceptional balance and poise.

78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petite Verdot and the aging adds another unique note; all American oak barrels 30% new from Seguin Moreau for 15 months. This Cab is dark and dense, with aromas of cassis, plum, anise, and just the right amount of toasty spice and vanilla. Fruit forward with vibrant, mouthwatering acidity, it’s intense and enveloped in soft, ripe, tannins, which lead to a beautiful balanced finish. Another amazing value that you won’t want to miss!!
