wine is the 2010 vintage Brunello from Famiglia Castellani's Collezione
Collesano with a striking label drawing by artist Andrea Collesano.
2010 was an outstanding vintage for Brunello rated 98 points overall.
100% Sangiovese aged 2 years in oak casks and then gently aged in the
bottle until this release. The wine shows a vivid garnet color and
aromas of dried cherry, cranberry, tobacco, citrus peel and leather.
The palate is soft and velvety with flavors echoing the aromas and
lingering on the finish.
