Castellani 2010 Brunello 2-Bottle Gift Box

An exciting gift!! Here is a beautiful two-bottle boxed set of Brunello di Montalcino. This wine is the 2010 vintage Brunello from Famiglia Castellani's Collezione Collesano with a striking label drawing by artist Andrea Collesano. 2010 was an outstanding vintage for Brunello rated 98 points overall. 100% Sangiovese aged 2 years in oak casks and then gently aged in the bottle until this release. The wine shows a vivid garnet color and aromas of  dried cherry, cranberry, tobacco, citrus peel and leather. The palate is soft and velvety with flavors echoing the aromas and lingering on the finish. The box is stenciled on both the inside and outside of the lid and makes an impressive presentation.
