Established in 1998, Yountville AVA is nestled between the Vaca and Mayacamas Mountain ranges bordering Oakville and the Stag's Leap District. The soils here are gravely and deep and the temperatures are some of the coolest in the entire Valley. This gives Cabernet a long slow growing season where the grapes turn out deeply concentrated and well-structured. Many experts rank Yountville wines among the best of Napa Valley.

This 2017 is a bend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 3% Petite Syrah aged 16 months in French oak.

Wine Enthusiast Magazine scored this 91 points saying "This wine offers tremendous value and is made in large enough quantities for wide distribution, adding to its appeal. Juicy in flavors of plum, cassis and cherry, it is balanced by soft tannins and well-integrated oak."
