With over 1000 years of history, Château de Meursault follows an approach of excellence in respect of nature, the environment and the climates. With the 2022 vintage, the entire vineyard of Château de Meursault is conducted in organic farming. Their curated vines produce the best grapes representing the varied terroirs; they make the best quality juices, due to a natural and precise vinification and ageing process.
This 2020 is a captivating white wine that showcases the elegance and finesse of Chardonnay from the renowned Burgundy region of France. With its pale lemon color, this wine immediately catches the eye, hinting at the delicate flavors that await.
Burghound scored this 91-93 points saying "Moderate reduction again pushes the underlying fruit to the background though there is outstanding freshness and verve on the palate of the medium-bodied flavors that retain lovely delineation on the moderately dry, youthfully austere and complex finale. Very solid quality here."
Wine Spectator gave this 92 points saying "A creamy, butterscotch-infused white, exhibiting peach, apricot, hazelnut and baking spice flavors. Supersmooth and harmonious, this lingers, echoing the butterscotch on the finish. Drink now through 2028. 50 cases imported."
