This tiny estate with a 9.5 acre vineyard is located in the prestigious Pomerol appellation. Good gravel and siliceous soils are ideal for Merlot and Cab Franc and the vines are a mature 25 years of age on average. Since 1997 the quality procedures initiated on the estate has taken the wines up to new levels of excellence, and will continue to do so in the future. This Cuvee Montille is 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc aged in new oak barrels for one year.
Wine Enthusiast Magazine scored this 90 points saying "This ripe, Merlot-dominated blend is packed with the berry fruits typical of the vintage. There is a spicy edge to this rich wine that offers smooth tannins and a juicy aftertaste. It will age relatively quickly, so drink from 2020."
