The 25 acres of vineyards of Chateau Gantelet are situated in Gensac, on slopes of Dordogne valley. A mix of gravel, clay and limestone soils offer ideal growing conditions for Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
The wine is produced with traditional Bordeaux winemaking techniques. Pneumatic pressing where the grapes are not crushed but gently squeezed. Temperature controlled fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
This wine shows deep red in color. There is a rich cherry flavor which drifts into mellow sweet tannins, gliding into a nice smooth finish. The best way to describe this wine is, 'easy-to-drink and a stunning value!!
