An incredible find, this Bordeaux Superieur is from the the superlative 2010 vintage and has a Gold Medal from both the Concours des Grands Vins de France and the Challenge International du Vin. This Petit Chateau has the same owners as Grand Cru La Couspaude and the wine making approach is strictly Grand Vin. The grapes are sorted and slowly macerated in temperature controlled tanks by varietal. The blend is 70% Merlot 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc and it is aged in new oak barrels. Additionally this wine has been aging gently in the winery cellars up until the time it arrived at our warehouse just last month. The years of bottle age have brought an exceptional level of complexity and a supple softness to a wine that is loaded with expression and style. A 2010 Bordeaux that's at it's peak and a super bargain! We think it's completely irresistible.
