This delightful Barbaresco is produced by Giovanni Sordo as a wine to enjoy much sooner than his Barolos and Crus.
100% Nebbiolo carefully selected for freshness undergoes a short maceration at cool temperatures. the wine is then aged in large oak foudres.
This wine shows garnet red color with orange highlights, more clear with the passing of years; a delicate bouquet of rose petal, cherry, undergrowth, spices, and violet. On the palate, it's dry and harmonious, full-bodied and complex with well-balanced supple tannins. The finish is pleasant and persistent. Best of all it's an amazing value!!
