About Domaine La Consonniere 2020 Viognier, Rhone, Vin de France
Domaine La Consonniere was created in 2009 after Sebastien Cuscusa bought Domaine de la Cabane. One of the first moves Sebastien made was to bring in Philippe Cambie as the consultant for wine making and vineyard management.
Mostly producing red, this wine made with 100% Viognier is one of their few white wines. Sourced from various vineyards and fermented in stainless steel it shows a the characteristic bright golden yellow color. The nose is vibrant with notes of lemon peel, violets and peaches. Rich and Powerful on the palate showing dried apricot, bitter orange peel with notes of Acacia honey, a very nice Viognier.
