92 Point ‘Caymus’ Produced Pinot!
Joseph Wagner of the "Caymus" Wagners has branched out. After conquering the Cabernet world he moved on to Pinot Noir and absolutely crushed it with Belle Glos and Meiomi. This the latest vintage of Elouan Oregon Pinot Noir and once again he's making it look easy. Emulating his very successful sourcing philosophy namely, blending grapes from the top Pinot Noir regions together for a richer, more complex style than you could achieve by sourcing from one area.

So top quality grapes from prime vineyards in Willamette, Umpqua and Rogue Valleys are sourced. The diversity of these cool climate areas elongates the growing season, developing intense structure, while maintaining a vibrant acidity to differentiate it from California Pinot Noir.
Winemaker Notes
Harmonious and elegant on the palate with flavors, of rich red plum, bright cherry, subtle earthiness and a hint of sweet tobacco, creating complex layers with soft, refined tannins.
92 Points Tasting Panel
Jump right into ripe black fruit-blackberry and plum-as it permeates the palate. Sweet tobacco builds a textural coating, with a creamy core of smashed black raspberry.
