The original vineyard was established in 1981, by Wellingtonian engineer Rex Brooke-Taylor who took the name Framingham from his ancestral home town near Norwich, England. Today they're producing all their wine at their new winery, built in 1997 with all modern winemaking tools. The winery sits on their 41 acre estate that is farmed 100% sustainably.

This Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from eight different sites and the grapes are fermented separately; 11% in barrel, the rest in stainless steel (including 5% on the skins).
James Suckling rated it 90 Points saying ‘Very aromatic with gooseberries, currant leaves, lime zest and some flinty reduction to it. Crisp and tangy with a medium body and bright acidity. Toned, citrusy finish.’
