After a long distinguished career in the wholesale wine business in Piemonte, Franco's dream was realized of establishing a family winery in Mombarazzo in the heart of the growing region for Piemonte's famous DOC and DOCG wines. The vineyards and winery produce wines in according to Franco's tradition and meticulous standards for quality. This Barolo is sourced from his vineyards as well as other top vineyards in the region. It shows the bold character of the Nebbiolo grape along with the beguiling complexity and style.

James Suckling scored this 91 points saying "A little raisiny with iron and dried-berry character on the nose and palate. Full-bodied, chewy and powerful. Needs three to four years to come around. Try in 2021."
