Founded in 1785 Heidsieck Monopole is one of the first Grand Marque Champagne houses. Since it's earliest days Heidsieck Monopole has been preserving the excellence of its vineyard to ensure the quality and finesse of their great Champagnes.
Every year a portion of the harvested grapes showing the greatest potential is vinified and preserved. These reserve wines play an important role in the blending process, representing more than half of their composition adding structure and roundness and helping to sustain the house style. That's the case for this Blue Top Brut, made primarily from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, with some Chardonnay as well.
Wine Enthusiast Magazine said "This is a deliciously crisp wine with white fruits and a creamy mousse. It is soft from the relatively high dosage, giving a lightly tangy character and finishing with ripe acidity. The bottling is ready to drink."
