The accolades for Imagery winemaker Jamie Benziger keep rolling in. She was named millennial vintner to watch on winebusiness.com, she was chosen by Wine Enthusiast Magazine as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Tastemakers of 2019, and she was chosen Best Woman Winemaker of the Year from the International Women’s Wine Competition!
Imagery is rooted in three decades of Sonoma Valley winemaking by the Benziger family. The line of Imagery wines celebrates traditional varietals enhanced with something a little outside the box. To this Chardonnay a small addition of Chenin Blanc boosts the wine’s brightness and overall floral characteristics.
Grapes are cold fermented with minimal French oak influence. The Chardonnay went through 20% malolactic fermentation to add body and roundness to the wine while still preserving the lean, elegant style.
