About Kenwood 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, Six Ridges, Sonoma

Named in honor of the mountains and ridges that border the vineyards and influence the terroir, these handcrafted small-lot wines celebrate provenance and the Kenwood VIneyards winemaker’s commitment to craft. They've carefully selected the top vineyards and best varietals in Alexander Valley to ensure that this wine is the ultimate expression of the variety and terroir. Each lot is picked, fermented and aged separately to preserve the unique flavors of the vineyard before they are brought together and purposefully blended. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 24 months in French and American oak, this wine is both full-bodied and elegant with complex aromas of fig, plum and ripe berry along with subtle hints of vanilla, cocoa nibs and cola. It has a rich mouthfeel with lush tannins that giveway to a lingering, silky finish.
