About Kobus 2020 Russian River Valley Rose

Kobus Estate Wines produces small lots of Pinot Noir and Rose from a single 2.7 acre vineyard in the Russian River Valley. RRV is home to some of the best Pinot producers in the world such as Gary Farrell, Rochioli, William Selyem, Merry Edwards and more! The Kobus Vineyard is situated in a unique mesoclimate located at the foot of the Eastern Hills section of the Russian River Valley. The goal at Kobus Estate is simply to produce wines that reflect the terroir of this singular site.
This 2020 Rose is racy with refreshing acidity, yet also rich and fleshy with elements such as honeysuckle and honeydew. On the palate the wine evolves to reveal notes of tart “hot day” summer strawberries, cherry, as well as citrus in the form of cranberry and blood orange. Pairing opportunities are seemingly endless and include everything from charcuterie to spicy cuisine.
