Half Bottle 375ML
From the Grand Cru Sauternes estate Chateau Suduiraut, this second label wine delivers the style and pedigree of Suduiraut at an amazing value. 97% Semillon and 3% Sauvignon Blanc aged 12 months in 13% new oak barrels. The weather in 2017 was generally warm and dry and botrytis developed well in early September thanks to the rain on 3rd and 10th. The third selective picking took place concurrently with the previous one and the harvest finished on 19th October. Volumes were lower but concentration remained high.
This sweet wine reveals a bright golden color. The nose is very delicate with hints of rose and passion fruit plus candied tropical fruit notes, such as pineapple, followed by roasted apricot and candied orange.
On the palate it's fleshy, with tropical and candied character plus fresh acidity. The finish is sweet, clean, taut and mineral, with notes of honey and candied orange.
