About Livio Felluga 2019 Pinot Grigio, Collio DOC
A true standard bearer for the white wines of Northern Italy, Livio Felluga started his winery in 1955 in the town of Rosazzo and since then has been producing world-class wines from this unique region. The province of Friuli Venezia Giulia borders Austria to the North, Slovenia to the east, Veneto to the west and the Adriatic Sea to the South. It is a crossroad where northern, southern, eastern and western Europe meet.
Known particularly for perhaps the most exceptional Pinot Grigio in the world, Felluga's has been widely praised and frequently selected for wine of the year lists.
This 2019 is sourced from vineyards in esteemed Collio DOC. Grapes carefully destemmed and left to macerate for a short period. The fruit is then soft crushed then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
