Malma 2016 Malbec, Finca La Papay, NQN, Patagonia

Bodegas Malma produces this 100% Malbec from a 400 acre vineyard planted in 2001 in Neuquen Patagonia. Grapes for this wine were manually harvested grapes from selected lots, and aged for 9 months in French and American oak. James Suckling scored this 91 points saying "Dark-berry, walnut and orange-peel aromas follow through to a medium to full body, firm and silky tannins and a savory finish. Pretty balance of fruit, tannin and acidity here. Drink now."
