About Mas de Boislauzon 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape, Cuvee Tintot
The celebrated estate of Mas de Boislauzon is located north of the appellation Châteauneuf-du-Pape on the town Orange at the place called Boislauzon. Christine et Daniel Chaussy, the 5th generation of winemakers of this family, run the estate. Today, their children have joined them as well. The estate was certified organic in 2012. They own 11 acres of Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards spread over 15 plots
Wine Enthusiast scored this 95 Points points saying "Whiffs of smoked nut and dark chocolate accent primary, intensely ripe black cherry and plum in this wine. It's juicy and hedonistic, but shaded by hints of granite and earth. Approachable already it has firm tannins and subtle earth tones that should meld further through 2026."
