Master Sommelier Ian Cauble whose fame arose from his being featured in the documentaries "Somm" and "Into The Bottle" where his wine knowledge, focus, energy and attention to detail were exceptional, is bringing that praiseworthy intensity to producing fine wine. Teaming up with Vintner, Trevor Sheehan, who spent nearly a decade learning from the master winemakers of Burgundy and Bordeaux before returning to craft expressive California wines, they've created Method Red. Sourcing outstanding grapes from the cool environs of the Lake and Mendocino Counties, they've blended a wine with layers of expression and a broad flavor profile that retains balance, finesse and elegance. 50% Syrah, Mendocino County, 25% Zinfandel, Lake County and 25% Petite Sirah, Mendocino aged in oak barrels. It shows aromas of blackberry, plum and baking spice. Layered with mouth-filling flavors of Bing cherry, blueberry, vanilla, espresso and brown sugar.
