Millbrook Vineyards, called “the Hudson Valley’s flagship winery” by The New York Times Millbrook celebrates 35 years of wine-making excellence. Located in the magnificent Hudson River Valley just 1.5 hours from both New York City and Albany the cool climate vineyards produce fresh vibrant fruit as demonstrated by this Tocai Fruliano from their estate vineyards.
Hand-harvested and then cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks to retain the bright fruit flavors. The wine then ages on the lees in the same tanks for added texture and complexity. It shows enticing aromas of gooseberry, Anjou pear and key lime. On the palate are notes of citrus zest and meadow flowers. The rounded acidity is complemented with a supple, lingering finish. A perfect summer sipper!
