A wonder from down under, Mollydooker wines were launched with the 2004 vintage and were an instant cult classic, producing broodingly rich, decadent offerings that are snapped up as quickly as they are put on the shelf. This 2016 is another instant success. Grapes for this year's Two Left Feet come from prime vineyard blocks in McLaren Vale including the Mollydooker home vineyard with some additional fruit from Langhorn Creek, also in South Australia. All of the grapes are sustainably grown. Parcels were vinified separately. The final blend is 71% Shiraz, 15% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 98% American oak and 2% French oak 39% new.
Wine Spectator scored this 90 points saying "Plump blackberry, blueberry and maraschino cherry flavors are ripe, smooth and juicy, with plenty of dark chocolate, spice and toasted coconut accents that linger effortlessly on the velvety body. Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Drink now through 2027."
